As the heat weaves are on their peak, it’s time to have some light food. Less heavy meals with lots of fluids can keep us active in summer. That is the reason I made fruits chaat for the dinner yesterday. Unlike normal meal with plenty of carbohydrates, this was very refreshing I should say. On top of that, if your kids are reluctant to eat variety of fruits, then this fruit chaat can work wonder. Seriously I bet.
When I kept a bowl of this chaat in front of my son who doesn’t even like eating banana and orange, loved them in chaat form. The spices like pepper and chaat powder turn the fruit’s deliciousness like miracle. I have chosen basic fruits like banana, apple and grapes along with guava. But it would have looked gorgeous visually if mango and pomegranate were included. Because the color factor works there.
The option to include the type of fruit is completely up to you. You can choose your favorite ones. But I would suggest to have fruits, that taste sweet and the ones with sour taste as well. Because there would be a good balance of taste. You can enhance the flavor of fruits chaat with few fresh mint leaves too.
