Rice fritters, this deep fried snack stays crisp for long. I mean through out the shelf life of this snack, it remains crisp. Which is really wow, isn’t it? It’s summer here and not a time that I love to be in kitchen. But due to CORONA courtesy, my vacation trip to India has gone for a toss. So I am here in UAE itself with my regular blogging, video making and stuff.
I tried many recipes of rice fritters earlier, but each of them failed being soggy after some time. But this recipe is just perfect. Easy to make and deliciously crispy to eat. On top of that, we can make many variations to enhance the taste. Say for example
- We can grind coconut, green chilly and cumin seeds together. This will surely give unique taste.
- We can add spices like garam masala and mint powder too.
Right now I can guess, these two variations work at its best. When we boil water in the recipe, can add all desired spices (said above) and knead the rice flour dough. You can make a jar full of rice fritters ahead of time and enjoy for one full month.

I have to be gluten free, so this recipe is perfect for me. Where I live in Florida, though, I can’t buy curry leaves. Is there a decent substitute or can I skip them? Thank you! Sorry about your vacation. It’s pretty much the same here.
