Jackfruit Fritters | Jackfruit MuLka using Wheat Flour

Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

If I don’t use jackfruit in cooking in the season of SUMMER, then I might not be me. May be it’s not me at all. Because I am a big lover of jackfruit which I use in cooking super crazy desserts. Jackfruit, kind of fruit which basically tastes sugary-sweet, naturally sweet I mean and it blends very well with all the desserts. Remember, jackfruit payasa? I totally fall in love with such jackfruit sweets, desserts in the summer season. Jackfruit fritters are just a mere example.

Those who follow me since few years, surely know jackfruit muLka using rava, which I posted few years ago. They are amazingly tasty right? Today I have made jackfruit muLka using wheat flour. Which is similar to former but wheat flour makes the fritter way too soft and yummy.

jackfruit fritters

Jackfruit fritters are deep fried goodies.  Sweet jackfruit pods are ground with coconut and mixed with wheat flour, jaggery and sesame seeds. Amount of wheat flour depends upon the quality of jackfruit. Some pods tend to turn runny consistency after grinding, and may need more flour. The dough consistency is very important and it should be neither too stiff nor too loose.

I know, you super wonderful ladies got my point. And you would make jackfruit fritters in best possible way. Go ahead.
