A bottle of pineapple squash in the refrigerator is like heaven on earth during this hot summer season. Don’t you agree guys? As the sun rises above your head and temperature reaches 40 degrees and more, you search for something cool beverage to quench your thirst. And right at that moment, no energy left in you to make pineapple juice from scratch. That is the time when pineapple squash in the fridge comes to rescue you. Just in 2 minutes, you can find yourself sitting on a couch with a big glass full of scrumptious juice. Yes, it’s that easy. All you need is 2 minutes to mix water and 1/4 cup of pineapple concentrate. And you are done.

There are many advantages of having homemade pineapple squash. Like, you have the complete quality assurance on what ingredients goes in to it.  Since it is free from harmful preservatives and artificial colors, there is no guilt in consuming the beverage.

Pineapple squash

Home made pineapple squash is quite easy.  I minced the chunks of pineapple to fine puree and strained all the fiber from it. As I checked the sweetness of fruit, it was just normal like not overly sweet. So thought of including just half cup of sugar. And it was just enough. Pineapple puree is cooked in one string consistency sugar syrup for about 10 minutes and creamy thick squash is ready. Easy isn’t it?
