We all south Indians routinely make Idli, Dosa, Uttappam, appam for breakfast and also it is really a cake walk when we have batter ready. We get ourselves less burn out in the morning by proper batter planning the prior day right? One thing we all must agree that side dish for these have to be ready in the morning like coconut chutney, tomato chutney or such kind. Some times unexpected power cuts will throw our schedule to the air, so what comes to our rescue? Yes, you guessed it right. It is chutney powder/chutney pudi that comes to your rescue when planned side dish can no longer be prepared. Though countless variations are possible, I like chutney pudi of lentils very much. Lentil chutney powder is a super delicious, perfect side dish with dosa, Idli, uttappam also you can have it with hot rice topping ghee or oil. I bet you love it.
