- 1.5 cups Raw rice
- 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds
- 1/2 cup Rice flakes
- 1.5 cups Pineapple cubes
- 1/2 cup Coconut
- 1.5 tsp Salt
- Oil as needed
Take rice and fenugreek seeds together in a wide bowl, add enough water and rinse two to three times. Add fresh water and soak it for 3 to 4 hours. Also soak rice flakes separately.
Next, add pineapple cubes and coconut in to a mixer and grind finely.
Include soaked rice and rice flakes as well to the same and grind together to fine batter. Add water only if needed.
Transfer the batter to bowl and let it ferment for 8-10 hours. After fermentation, add salt and water if needed. Mix well and the batter is ready.
Next, heat a griddle and pour ladle full batter at the center. Spread like dosa and cook covered for 2 minutes.
Pineapple dosa is ready to serve with coconut chutney.
- Do not over ferment the batter.
- Do not spread the dosa too thin. Thick pineapple dosa tastes too good.
