- 2 tbsp Finger millet flour Ragi flour
- 2 cup Water
- 3 tsp Jaggery
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 tbsp Nuts optional
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
In a bowl add ragi flour and 1/2 cup water. Mix well such that there are no lumps. Keep aside
Next, heat 1.5 cups of water and bring it to boil. When it is boiling, slowly include ragi flour mix. Keep stirring while adding.
Cook in medium flame. It's texture changes to glossy. Now add jaggery, milk and cardamom powder.
Mix well and as it starts boiling, switch off flame.
Ragi Malt is a healthy, filling beverage. Serve hot with some nuts topped. A healthy food to start your day.
- When adding ragi mixture to boiling water, keep stirring. Otherwise it forms lumps.
