Heat a pan/kadai adding 2 teaspoon of oil and add both lentils together. Roast them till you get nice aroma and lentil slightly turn brown. Transfer the roasted lentils to container.
Now add rest of the cooking oil, red chillies, sesame seeds, copra, curry leaves and tamarind. Roast them together till chillies fluff up. Switch off the flame.
Tranfer the roasted ingredients to the same container and let it cool.
Add all the roasted ingredients to the mixer and grind it to fine powder. After cooling store in airtight container. It lasts for 15 days without any dis-taste.
Spicy and delicious chutney powder is ready. Enjoy this as side dish and keep licking your fingers.
