Green Chutney for Chaat Recipe

Ingredients

  • Mint leaves- 1 bunch
  • Coriander leaves- 1 bunch
  • Green chillies- 4 nos.
  • Roasted gram- 2 tsp
  • Salt- 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger- 1/2" piece
  • Lemon- half

Instructions

Method

  • Rinse both the greens with enough water, roughly chop them and discard the thick stems if any. Take all the ingredients in a mixer except lemon and grind to fine puree.
  • Finally squeeze lemon to the chutney and transfer to a bowl.
  • Green chutney for chaat is ready to relish.

Notes

  • Do not add too much water while grinding, let it be saucy.
  • Do not run mixer for too long that may turn the chutney bitter.
  • Roasted gram gives the chutney nice texture.
