Ingredients

  • Green gram- 1 bowl
  • Fresh coconut- 1 bowl
  • Jaggery- 3/4 bowl
  • Cardamom- 2 pods

Preparation

  • Soak green gram in water for 2 hours.

Method

  • Grind soaked green gram, coconut, jaggery and cardamom pods in blender/mixer to smooth paste adding a glass of water.
  • Strain it using a juice strainer or muslin cloth. Press the puree nicely to extract juice as much as possible.
  • Add some more water to get the right consistency of juice. Green gram juice is ready to serve.Add a ice cube and serve chilled. Enjoy the health benefits of green gram juice.

Note:

  • You can grind once again after first extraction adding some more water. This way juice can be taken out completely.
